This is an ideal site if you want peace and quiet as it is set in a very rural location. Also good for keen anglers as fishing lakes on site. The on site restaurant was excellent, very good food at a reasonable cost. Mrs E, Wirral, Merseyside 30 March 2011
This is a quaint, quiet, secretive countryside setting hidden away which makes it so tranquil. You could be anywhere in the world at Westfield Lakes. The vast grassy areas dotted with ponds and the nature trails surround ten log cabins which are caressed with breathtaking surroundings and Christmas trees. The wildlife, particularly the Canadian geese ensure you are not completely on your own. Whether you venture there in winter to enjoy the snow and the log burners or summer for the B B Q's and sunset, the warm welcome from the host's and the comfort of the extraordinary reception/restaurant make this a totally relaxing holiday break. Ms C, Hull, North Humberside 03 November 2010
The excellent standard of the lodges and all the little extra touches were an unexpected surprise and it was perfect for a relaxing holiday. My 14 year old son was happy fishing on the lake from dawn to dusk. Mrs. K, RUNCORN, Cheshire 07 September 2010
Very pleased with the quality of the lodge set in a peaceful environment lovely for just chilling out. The bar and restaurant was on the small side but the food was beautiful and staff very friendly. Already thinking about going back next year. Mr K, SEAHAM, County Durham 29 July 2010
Very peaceful and idyllic, good food in the restaurant and I think our FIVE times returning speaks volumes! Mrs B, OLDHAM 02 March 2010
Good for people who like fishing. Mrs M, Wigan, Lancashire 16 June 2009
Complete peace and tranquility. Miss C, Sandwich, Kent 27 December 2008
I would highly recommend this holiday, we were quite lucky with the weather and the facilities added to our enjoyment. The meals in the restaurant were fantastic, they hadh that homecooked appeal. The fishing facilities are first class and the people are very friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Mr H, Derby, Derbyshire 02 June 2008
A lovely lodge with great fishing and good food on site. The staff are friendly and there is lots to see in the area. Mrs S, Wirral, Merseyside 16 May 2008
The fishing was good, but we were up against the elements with the weather. Overall an enjoyable holiday away from it all and civilization. Mr T, Shrewsbury 12 April 2008
Solitude and tranquility and fish till you flop! Complete with surrounding attractions such as Spurn Head Nature Reserve, Withensea and Hornsea. Mr S, Grantham, Lincolnshire 17 August 2007

Westfield Lakeside Park was stunning, the lodge was immaculate and the surroundings were relaxing and peaceful. Mrs G, Stevenage, Hertfordshire 21 July 2007
This is a beautiful park in a very quiet location. The accommodation is first rate and the lodges are very tastefully decorated and the hot tubs are brilliant. The bar is really friendly and the service was excellent, as were the meals, being served. The fishing is great, with a choice of 3 ponds and your own peg if you are staying in a lodge. Mrs K, Hull, East Yorkshire 11 June 2007
Fantastic fishing, lodges very warm, and very friendly people - we are coming back next year! Mr C 23 September 2006
